This painting was done on yupo paper. It works well for painting silver.

I like to make waffles in antique waffle irons. Here's a painting of one of them.

Texas Sunday House


I did this painting as a demonstration for the class that I teach....Some houses like this are called Sunday Houses in Texas.....kind of like a week-end place.

Kitchen Painting



This painting hangs in my kitchen. I used my antique coffee pot and a creamer as an inspiration. On the lower right you see it was made into a cookbook.

This painting is done on yupo paper...very smooth....like painting on plastic. I like to paint some of my favorite things around my house as shown in the following picture.....

Texas Hill Country Scene



At this time of year, bluebonnets are on my mind. I did this painting on masa paper....a very thin paper that I crinkle up and then glue onto watercolor paper before painting.

Imagining Italy



This is how I imagine Italy. Someday I hope to see something like this..Until then I'll just keep painting pictures.

Tulips

I poured the paint on, let it dry, and then came back and painted around the tulips (negative painting)...makes the painting more spontaneous.

I saw this swing at a bed and breakfast in Belleville, Texas and later enjoyed painting it.
